If you are lucky, you get old is a photographic project by Freya Najade that tells stories of queer and straight seniors and old age in general.

The project by Freya Najade emphasises that inner growth is ever lasting and people above seventy continue to love, suffer, long and dream.
Freya Najade hopes to continue her work this year in order to create a more positive image of ageing and also to raise awareness that homosexuality in old age exists.
To support her project and get some nice rewards in return check out her Kickstarter Campaign. Every little bit counts (even £1 makes a difference).

Scene was founded in Brighton in 1993, at a time when news stories about Pride protests were considered radical.
Since then, Scene has remained proudly independent, building a platform for queer voices. Every subscription helps us to report on the stories that matter to LGBTQ+ people across the UK and beyond.
Your support funds our journalists and contributes to Pride Community Foundation’s grant-making and policy work.
