Drag queens to battle it out to find out who is top dog in Brighton and Hove!

The annual Easter Bonnet Parade and Drag Queen Race take place this Easter Sunday, April 20.
Western Street on the borders of Hove and Brighton is closed from noon when The Grosvenor and Bedford Tavern organise a day of activites to raise money for the Sussex Beacon.
You can help by turning up, placing bets on the drag races, buying some raffle tickets and putting your loose change in the collection buckets.
The Easter Bonnet Parade is the centre piece of the afternoons entertainment and takes place at 1.30pm.
Here is a general running order for the day but timings are NOT SET IN STONE!
Noon: Bar opens/Western Street closes/betting opens
1.15pm: Photo Call of Drag Runners
1.30pm: Easter Bonnet Parade
2.30pm: Drag King Race
3pm: Heat 1 Drag Queen Race
3.30pm: Heat 2 Drag Queen Race
4pm: Heat 3 Drag Queen Race
4.30pm: The Grand Final Drag Queen Race
5pm: JB Entertains on Piano
6pm: Drag Race Prize Draw
6.15pm: Piano Bingo at the Beford Tavern
8pm: Fabulous cabaret with Spice, Sally Vate, Candi Rell and Miss Treated
9pm: Prize raffle draw
10pm: Charity Karaoke
Midnight: It’s all over for another year!
